On the 11th of May 2008 i lost the best grandad any one could ask for. He was kind and gentle and always did for others. He was always telling us storys about when he was doing his civil service and about his life. I could sit and listen to him all day. He use to sing "the sun has got his hat on" to me all the time when i was younger. We all loved him so much and miss him with all our hearts, he was a very ill man who had a Aortic Aneurysm and was only given 3 months to live 3 years ago and he showed them he lasted all this time. He leaves behind so many people and the one main person is my nan. Hope you are with sean (sean higgins) now and watching over us all.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

I now know pain to its full extent

growing up with you by my side, how am I to grow now when you're not by me, you said you would be with me forever, you lied.

My wonderful Dad
My dad was the best. Always there for us when times were good and bad. He was proud of his National service in Malaya. He drove buses for many years. Always proud whatever he did.He was loving, caring & thoughtful, He will be missed so much. Sundays will never be the same without his visits and his presence at Christmas. My feelings for my dad cannot be written but will stay with me forever. Such a special person can never be replaced. Although we knew what would happen you can never prepare i thought my dad was invincible, such a rock when i lost my son Sean. All i can hope is they are now together talking motorbikes and having fun.
